We are delighted to be a small family business and feel that it allows us to be a little more in touch with our suppliers and the products they offer, we call on our extensive camping knowledge to carefully select our range. Very often trying the products ourselves, and always selecting from a Campers perspective.
Shipping your online order ... how we help with packaging
We have to be honest , this can be a fine balance to strike. When dispatching your online order we need to ensure that your parcel arrives safely and just as we would want to receive it ... Whenever it's time to re order our packing materials we are make regular changes to our packing supplies choosing Biodegradable and recyclable or recycled packing. Our Void Fill and extra Protection paper are Newspaper Off cuts! We also recycle our supplier cardboard internally whenever possible ... your parcel may arrive in a box from one of our suppliers , this can be a little restricted by our couriers but we recycle our waste too!
Helping you replace rather than repair
We are delighted to be Coleman® and Campingaz® Authorised Spares Stockists , this gives us the privilegde of being able to help repair your Campingaz® or Coleman® Tent or Camping equipment without needing to replace ... We are also delighted to offer an in house Tent Pole Repair Service , as well as a comprehensive range of DIY Repair Products.

Our Tent Hire Service an Eco-responsible alternative for the Ocasional camper or those wanting to try!
Our tent hire service started back in 2011 , we launched the service to give family campers the opportunity to try camping without the initial , what can sometimes be a little expensive outlay. Being a larger family ourselves we were aware of the expense involved in setting up a family camping kit … We are delighted to offer our try before you buy scheme too! if you choose to buy a new model of your hire tent we deduct your daily hire charges from the cost of your new tent! A Great way to try before you buy….
13 years later , our successful tent hire service is becoming increasingly popular with campers who are looking to be a little more eco-friendly , perhaps occasional campers or those invited to join family and friends on a camping trip. Tent Hire offers occasional campers the flexibility to simply hire the tent for the duration of their camping trip. Likewise , for more regular customers our Tent Hire Service gives campers the opportunity to vary their tent depending on your camping_adventure! Without the need to invest in and store many tents at home,
So why do we think Hiring is an eco-friendlier option for casual campers … We choose our Hire tents carefully to ensure that they will provide many camping_adventures for our lovely Hire Customers, rather than being stored in the attic or garage for the occasional summer holiday or weekend camping trip , most of our Hire Tents will enjoy a summer full of holidays whether that be a sleepover in the garden , a weekend away or a longer stay at one of our events! Tent Hire ensures our tents are shared throughout the seasons from early Spring until the weather starts to turn in Autumn. Our family team of experienced campers are always here to offer advice and guidance from our many years of family camping adventures giving campers expert advice on the best choice for your camping adventure.
We try to be as eco responsible as we can to ensure that minimum waste ends up in landfill
Taking care of our Hire Tents … We look after our hire tents throughout their seasons with us as if they were our own .. On the rare occasions that there are any hiccups with our Hire Tents we will always try to repair whenever we can , rather than replacing with a new tent.
When it's time to say goodbye …. we hire all of our tents in a condition that we would be happy to receive them in and as soon as our Hire Tents start to show a little wear we move them on to more permanent homes with campers that are looking for a great value tent.
Occasionally we have hire tents that are so extremely popular that they stay with us a little longer , being much loved we may decide not to re-sell to campers , we do though donate these tents to various causes especially students for the fabric to be recycled.
Did you know … according to research carried out by Julies Bicycle ‘The average tent weighs 3.5kg and is mostly made of plastic – the equivalent of 8,750 straws or 250 pint cups.’ we fully support the ‘say no to single use ’ campaign organised by AIF
