How does a Percolator work .. when heated up the water rises to the top through a small tube , thanks to the ingenious Percolator principle.. A round filter for coffee or tea is placed on the tube. The hot water is pushed upwards over the tea / coffee and flows back down the pot as if through a sieve it then mixes with the water and rises again.
