Christmas is a wonderful time of year , for family get togethers or perhaps a spontaneous sleep over … adding to the excitement. We thought we would share a few of our best-selling Camping Beds that are really useful for at home too!
A simple airbed is easy to store and perfect for guests , simple to inflate and always great for camping! We love the Coleman Extra Durable airbeds , being a little lighter in weight , more durable and more puncture resistant too … but the thing we love most is the feel of the Airbed … its almost cotton feel … a much more comfortable sleeping surface than flocked airbeds. Available in three sizes … the Single Extra Durable Airbed , The Double Extra Durable Airbed and the Raised Extra Durable Airbed … this one is double height so a little larger than a standard Double Airbed.
Campbeds are always a great alternative to Airbeds , metal framed with a hammock style sleeping base they come in various styles , if you camp too and are looking to use at home and while on the camping field don't forget to check your tent bedroom sizes. We love the Zempire Campbeds , particularly the Zempire W Leg Camp Bed , we have added these to the hire range for 2023 , they are easy to pop together , sized perfectly to get the maximum capacity from your tent and perfectly sized to store too! A Self Inflating Sleeping Mat … perfect for just an extra sleeping space on the floor and particularly handy if you have backpackers , hikers or youngsters looking to complete the Duke of Edinburgh Scheme. SIM's (Self Inflating Mats) are available in lots of sizes and depths … depending on the use. For general family camping , DofE or Spring / Summer Backpacking the Multimat Camper 25 is a 4 season Self Inflating Camping Mat at a great price , with a depth of 2.5cm - The Zempire Camplite is a little deeper at 5cm both are single sized. Looking for a sleeping bag too? When choosing a sleeping bag, its always a good idea to consider when you'll be camping , for general summer camping a 2 to 3 sleeping bag is ample if you feel the cold or are camping a little earlier in the seasons we'd recommend a 3 to 4 season sleeping bag … most will give either a temperature range or a season rating. Great for home too , sleeping bags are easy to store and great for sleepovers! Available in childrens , Adult and double sizes too! most square bottomed Sleeping Bags (envelope Style) will zip together to make a generous double .. giving the flexibility of either 2 x singles or a double!
